Matching Grant Projects completed during the last few years:

1) MG# 20752 - Women's Vocational Training cum Earning Centers, in the villages of our RCCs at Benapur, Baghati & Dakshindihi.

International Partner - RC North York, R.I. Dist. 7070 and CRCID (Canadian Rotary Collaboration for Int'l Development).

 

2) MG# 55504 Tubewell Project : Under TRF matching grant project MG# 55504, our club sunk 14 deep hand Tube Wells in various villages under our RCCs at Benapur, Baghati & Dakshindihi.

4) M/G Project No.  59266 - 200nos Sanitary Toilets

5) M/G Project No. 59864 - FRUIT TREE :  towards a better environment, nutrition for children and a means of earning for women.

6 & 7) M/G Project No.  61607 & 61662 Telemedicine Project for setting up Medical Center with Telemedicine Facilities in TSUNAMI disaster hit Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

C) Polio corrective Surgery and Artificial Limbs & Caliper Project - Camp No. 2 held on 27th June 2010 with Mr. Ambika Bannerjee, Member of Parliament, Howrah as Chief Guest. Mr Shantilal Maloo, announces Rs One Lakh for Wheel Chairs and camp publicity. Polio corrective surgeries conducted by Dr K K Daga & his team.

 

D) Limbs & Calipers provided through Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Varanasi.

.           1000 Intra Ocular Lens implant surgeries for Cataract

                                           # R.I.Districts #7530, #7550, #7730 - USA.  

            This project is a South Asia Inter-District Project. Surgeries are planned at 5 cardiac hospitals of Asia Heart Foundation in Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Jamshedpur. This is truly an international service project which would be BUILDING COMMUNITIES AND BRIDGING CONTINENTS.

         * Project awaits receipt of funds from Rotary Foundation as on 14th August 2010.

      

        4) Application in progress for 80 Soak Pits - a rain water harvesting and recharging of underground water.
